6. Gasper Assembly, Crew Station Overhead

A. Gasper Assembly, Crew Station
(Overhead) Removal
(Ref. Figure 205)
(1). Remove crew compartment interior
center beam main covers (Ref. Section
25-10-00).
(2). Remove hose clamp (3) securing duct
(4) to left gasper mounting plenum (5)
and remove plenum from duct.
(3). Remove screws (6) and washers (7) and
separate left gasper mounting plenum
from right gasper mounting plenum (8).
(4). Remove left or right gasper assembly
(9) from mounting plenum.
B. Gasper Assembly, Crew Station
(Overhead) Installation
(Ref. Figure 205)
(1). Place gasper assembly (9) into left (5)
or right (8) gasper mounting plenum.
(2). Mate left and right gasper mounting
plenums together and install screws (6)
and washers (7). Torque screws (6).
(3). Install gasper mounting plenum in duct
(4) and secure with hose clamp (3).
Torque clamp (3).
(4). Install crew compartment interior
center beam main covers (Ref. Section
25-10-00).

7. Gasper Assembly, Passenger
Compartment
A. Gasper Assembly (Passenger
Compartment) Removal
(Ref. Figure 205)
(1). Gain access to gasper assembly by
removing cabin compartment interior
roof panels (Ref. Section 25-20-00).
(2). Remove hose clamp (10) securing
flexible duct (11) to gasper assembly
plenum cap (12).
(3). Loosen gasper securing nut (13) and
remove gasper assembly (14), plenum
cap (12), plenum cap clamp (15) and
nut from gasper mounting structure.
B. Gasper Assembly (Passenger
Compartment) Installation
(Ref. Figure 205)
(1). Place gasper assembly (14) through
bottom of gasper mounting structure
and install gasper securing nut (13),
gasper assembly plenum cap (12) and
plenum cap clamp (15). Tighten gasper
securing nut (13) to ensure no axial
movement.
(2). Connect flexible duct (11) to gasper
assembly plenum cap with hose clamp
(10). Torque hose clamp (10).
(3). Close access to gasper by installing
cabin compartment interior roof panels
(Ref. Section 25-20-00).
