A. General Storage Procedures
Prior to engine run-up refer to manufacturers
Engine Manual (Ref. Section 01-00-00).
B. General Inspection
(1). Ensure all removed components are
preserved and stowed in the helicopter
or at a designated location.
(2). Main rotor blades will be removed and
placed in a storage container and stored
under cover, (Ref. Section 62-10-00).
(3). Ensure records of all removed or
disconnected components is entered in
helicopter records.
(4). Check fuel, oil and hydraulic lines for
leakage.
(5). Service helicopter in accordance with
Servicing (Ref. Section 12-00-00).
(6). Ensure all bolts, washers, nuts etc.
which are removed during disassembly,
are coated with a light coat of corrosion
preventive (Ref. CSP-SPM).
(7). Record type and date of storage in
helicopter records.
C. Preservation for Intermediate Storage
