Main Rotor Blade Track and Balance Kit
NOTE:
Blade tracking targets must be
installed in the correct sequence. Blade
number one is located above nose of helicop­
ter when swashplate interrupter is above
azimuth sensor. Blades number 2, 3, 4, and
5 are numbered in sequence opposite the di­
rection the rotor turns.

(1). Release rotor brake, refer to current
Rotorcraft Flight Manual (Ref. Section
01-00-00, Table 201).
(2). Turn main rotor until swashplate
interrupter (2) is positioned above
azimuth sensor (1).
(3). Remove screw (3) from forward rotor
blade (4).
(4). Install blade tracking target (6) number
one on blade tip. Torque screw.
(5). Repeat steps (3). and (4). to install
blade tracking targets (6) numbered
two, three, four and five on each rotor
blade, in sequence opposite the direc­
tion the rotor turns.
