The following troubleshooting procedures are a
brief summary of vent system faults which
may be encountered (Ref. Table 101).
Fault
Vent fan inoperative.

Probable Cause
Circuit Breaker VENT EVAP
(CB18) Open.
Faulty AC/VENT switch.
Open ground wire from
AC/Vent Fan switch to
GS 104−D ground stud.
Faulty K100 power relay.
Faulty vent fan motor.
Faulty wiring.
Troubleshooting tables should be used with
system schematics, electrical wiring diagrams,
serviceability checks and other detailed
procedures in this and other chapters of the
manual.
Comprehensive wiring diagrams are available
in the Rotorcraft Maintenance Manual
CSP-900RMM-3 (Ref. Section 98-40-00).
Corrective Action
Replace or reset VENT EVAP
circuit breaker (CB18) as
required.
Remove and replace vent
switch.
Test and repair wiring.
Remove and replace K100
power relay.
Replace vent fan motor.
Test and repair wiring.
