B. Main Rotor Ground Track Adjustment
Rotor Vibrations
WARNING
(1). Install main rotor blade tracking
targets.
(2). Start one engine, refer to current
Rotorcraft Flight Manual (ref. Section
01-00-00, Table 201).
(3). Set main rotor RPM to 65% N
(4). Press MENU on IIDS key panel (ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 95-30-00).
(5). Use the ↓ key to select BALANCE
MONITOR from first level menu and
press ENT.
(6). Use the ↓ key to select MAIN ROTOR
TRACK from second level menu and
press ENT. Display changes to: FLASH
STROBE BLD SPREAD <ON>
(7). Point strobe light at main rotor blade
tips and press trigger. Record vertical
position of each rotor blade tracking tip.
NOTE:
Move strobe light in a ``W'' pattern while
pointed at blade tip path in front of aircraft
to find reflective blade tracking targets.
(8). Calculate adjustments necessary to
correct blade track. Track must be
within 1.00 inch (25.4 mm).
(9). Make pitch change link adjustment.
(10). Repeat steps (2). thru (8). with main
rotor RPM set to 100% N
C. Main Rotor Hover Track Adjustment
Rotor Vibrations
WARNING
(1). Install main rotor blade tracking
targets.
(2). Start and hover aircraft, refer to
current Rotorcraft Flight Manual (ref.
Section 01-00-00, Table 201).
(3). Press MENU on IIDS key panel (ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 95-30-00).

(4). Use the ↓ key to select BALANCE
MONITOR from first level menu and
press ENT.
(5). Use the ↓ key to select MAIN ROTOR
TRACK from second level menu and
press ENT. Display changes to: FLASH
STROBE BLD SPREAD <ON>
(6). Point strobe light at main rotor blade
tips and press trigger. Record vertical
position of each rotor blade tracking tip.
NOTE:

(7). Calculate adjustments necessary to
correct blade track. Track must be
within 1.00 inch (25.4 mm).
(8). Make pitch change link adjustment.
D. In−Flight Rotor Tracking
Rotor Vibrations
WARNING
The rotor track must be within
CAUTION
the specified limits of the Main
Rotor Ground and Hover Track Adjustment
procedures (ref. Procedures 1.B. and 1.C.),
before you start the In-Flight Rotor Track­
ing procedure.
(1). Make sure the rotorcraft gross weight is
between 4900 to 5500 lb (2223 to 2495
kg).
(2). Do the Autorotation RPM Adjustment
(ref. Procedure 3.A.) before you make
adjustments for the in-flight track and
balance.
(3). Install tracking targets (6).
If the IIDS display shows
WARNING
CHECK NOTAR BAL or
CHECK ROTOR BAL for more than 10
minutes, land as soon as possible. Do
not fly again until the cause of the vi­
bration is found and corrected.
(4). Fly the rotorcraft (ref. the applicable
Rotorcraft Flight Manual, Section
01-00-00, Table 201).
(5). Press MENU on IIDS key panel (ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 95-30-00).
(6). Use the ↓ key to select BALANCE
MONITOR from first level menu.
