Lubricate pawl # 7 with Molykote PG 54 (P/N 420 899

763) then install over rope sheave.
Lubricate pawl lock # 8 with Molykote PG 54. Install
o
over pawl.
Instal stepped sleeve # 9 with its sleeve first. Lubricate a
o
new O-ring # 10 and lock ring # 11 whit Molykote PG
54. Install over pawl lock.
1) Stepped sleeve
2) O-ring
3) Lock ring
Install the locking element nut # 12.

INSTALLATION
Fuse rope end with a lit match.
o
Thread starter rope # 6 over guide pulleys and through
o
eye bolt.
Reinstall rewind starter assembly on engine.
o
Pass rope through starter grip # 17 and tie a knot in the
o
rope end. Insert rope end down and pull the starter grip
over the knot.
