Quadrature Decoder Driver

This section describes the API for the MC56F83xx Quadrature Decoder on-chip module. The
functionality of the Quadrature Decoder module itself is described in the MC56F8300
Peripheral User Manual.
5.13.1
Introduction
The MC56F83xx has up to two Quadrature Decoders, Quadrature Decoder #0 and Quadrature
Decoder #1. Each Quadrature Decoder module has four input signals: PHASEA, PHASEB,
INDEX, and HOME.
This section describes the Quadrature Decoder driver software providing the lowest level
software layer, interfacing hardware to software.
