PIT Driver Applications

There are three sample applications demonstrating how PIT module can be used in a user
application. The supported EVM boards for PIT sample application are MC56F8025DEMO and
MC56F8037EVM.
5.21.4.1
dac_pit_demo
{DSP56800E_Quick_Start Source}\..\sample_applications\EVM\dac_pit_demo
This application shows how PIT_0 and PIT_1 are driven by PIT_0 and PIT_1 timers in an
automatic mode, generating a sawtooth signals.
5.21.4.2
dac_cmp_demo
{DSP56800E_Quick_Start Source}\..\sample_applications\EVM\dac_cmp_demo
This application shows how PIT_0 and PIT_1 are driven by PIT_0 timer in an automatic mode,
generating a sawtooth signals. Analog Comparator module (CMP) is then used to compare the
PIT_0 and PIT_1 signals and sets one user LED accordingly.
5.21.4.3
adc_fmstr_demo
{DSP56800E_Quick_Start Source}\..\sample_applications\EVM\adc_fmstr_demo
Again, this application shows how PIT_0 and PIT_1 are driven by PIT_0 counter in an automatic
mode, generating a sawtooth signals. The ANA7 and ANB7 channels are sourced from PIT_0 and
PIT_1 and the ADC-measured values may be displayed in the FreeMASTER visualization tool.
