The following is a list of settings available in Scan mode.

View and specify the document name when saving the scanned data.
Specify the color mode of the data to be scanned.
Specify the scanning size for originals to be scanned.
Specify the file format for saving the scanned data.
Specify the sides of the original to be scanned.
Adjust the scanning level.
Specify the orientation of the original.
Specify the resolution for scanning originals.
Use this option when multiple different original sizes are used in the
original.
Use this option to remove shadows that appear in the center of
images when an open book is scanned.
Use this option to scan double-spread pages and split them into two
parts (right and left).
Assign PIN codes when saving scanned jobs on the internal hard disk
of this machine.
Select the original type to perform the appropriate image processing
and save the scanned data.
Use this option to correct the color balance (CMYK) of the scanned
data.
Specify the image processing appropriate for the original.
Make the background color (base color) lighter so that the text is
easier to read.
Call frequently used settings.
Use this option to check the current settings. You can check the
preview of the scanned data.
Register favorites and default settings, and edit the button order. You
can register and edit the address books as well.
