System Telephones on the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800
1.2.3 Audio Adapter
The audio adapter is an adapter accessory with various sockets for connecting
external audio and signalling equipment.
You can use audio adapters on the OpenPhone 63 and on the OpenPhone 65 to
connect audio equipment and various accessories. The following interfaces are
available for external analogue equipment:
■
one 4-pole socket (1):
for connecting an ear cap, a second handset, a headset, an external active loud-
speaker, headphones or an external microphone
■
one stereo socket (2):
for connecting recording equipment
■
one dummy socket (3):
for a doorbell input
This connection is currently not supported by the OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800,
as the system uses a separate doorbell input.
■
one 6-pole socket (4):
for connecting a door display (a "door busy" indicator)
