Adjusting throttle control free play
The throttle twistgrip must have
a free play of 1.5 - 2 mm measured
at the edge of the twistgrip, at all positions of the handlebars.
If it needs adjusting, use the suitable adjusters (1 and 2, fig.
77) provided on the steering tube right-hand side.
Adjuster (1) is for throttle opening, adjuster (2) for closing.
Slip the rubber gaiters (3) off the adjusters and loosen the
check nuts (4). Adjust both adjusters proportionally: turn
clockwise to increase play, counter clockwise to decrease it.
When finished, tighten the check nuts (4) and refit the rubber
gaiters to the adjusters.
