Cleaning and replacing the spark plugs

Spark plugs are essential to smooth engine running and
should be checked at regular intervals.
This operation provides an indication of engine condition.
Have the spark plugs checked and replaced (as required) by
a Dealer or authorised Service Center, who will check the
colour of the ceramic insulator of the centre electrode; a
uniform light brown colour indicates good engine condition.

Inspect the centre electrode for wear and check spark
plug gap, which should be:
0.6-0.7 mm.
Important
If gap is too wide or too close, engine performance will
be affected. This could also cause difficult starting or irregular
idling.
