Plug-in Power Cord

Connect the power cord to the power receptacle on the back of the unit. Before connecting the power
cord make sure to turn off the switch.

Powering ON and powering OFF the unit

To Turn ON

Press the power supply Rocker switch to On position. The (I) symbol should be pressed down.
When the chassis power is on the unit is set to stand-by mode. Roben-3 will automatically turns ON when
the computer is turned ON.

To Turn Off

Always power down the Host computer first before the chassis. Press Off or shutdown computer, Roben-3
will automatically turns OFF.

Verify Connection

Once you have installed the Interface cards correctly and both computer and expansion are running, the
next thing to do is to check the LED Link up status. Verify the following LEDs on the expansion and host
interface cards. Host Card and Expansion card with proper link established should show up with FIVE solid
green LEDs. The Interface card is plugged into X8 PCIe slot.

You should see the following LEDs are illuminated:
a. Three green LEDs on the backplane
b. Four to Five green LEDs on the Expansion card
c.
Four to Five green LEDs on the HOST card, which is installed inside the host computer
