Q: If the Thunderbolt card fails to power up, what should I check?
A: Check the power / stand-by cable; make sure it is firmly connected to the power receptacle of the
Thunderbolt Interface card.
Q: How do I know if Roben-3power supply is working?
A: If the Thunderbolt card is properly seated and connected, there should be four green LEDs lit on the
Interface card (5 if an external display monitor is attached), 3 green LEDs lit on the backplane, and 1 green
LINK UP 0 LED is turned ON as shown below. This picture below applies to Thunderbolt™ 1 expansion unit.
NOTE: For Thunderbolt2, you should see the same 3 Solid Green LEDs on the backplane and 4 LEDs on the
Interface are illuminated. 5 If there is an external display monitor is attached.
