If you enable the option, you can program the Start and End dates from the pull-down
calendar box and then set the time at which the DST takes effect and ends. The time to
be adjusted is to be programmed in "hh mm" format.
When the current time matches the `Starting time', the unit adds the `hours and
minutes to adjust' value to the current time. When the current time matches the
`Ending time', the unit sets the clock back by the `hours and minutes to adjust' value.
3.4
System Parameters
System Parameters consist of important and sensitive usage parameters and should be
changed by qualified installers or service personnel only. A password is required to
access the 'System Parameters' option. The serial number of the Synectix VMS Lite unit
and the software version number may also be verified under this option.
You are prompted to enter a password when you click on the 'System Parameters'
option. If the correct password is supplied, the following menu options become
accessible as shown below.

PBX Parameters
PBX parameters are very critical in order to perform all call handling activities and these
must not be changed except by qualified service personnel.

Hook-flash timing:
The `Hook flash' is a method of signaling the PBX by momentarily going `on-hook' and
then again going `off-hook'. Normally, the hook flash is required for a call to be
transferred.
