Time before No Answer: When the Synectix VMS Lite calls a number for external
notification, this is the duration of time after which it decides that there is No-Answer
from the called number when it does not receive any answer.

Extension Options
This menu option has two sub options.
Extensions
Single Digit Plan
Extensions:
User Extensions may be created with or without a mailbox. However, to create an
extension with a mailbox, you must use the "Create mailbox" option.
Invalid Extensions are those extensions to which calls will not be transferred. To
program a particular leading digit as an Invalid leading digit, i.e. to make all extensions
from 400 to 499 as Invalid, enter 4**.
Operator extensions are of four types as shown in the figure above and these are not
dependent on extension-length. For example, if extension length is 3, you may enter
operator extensions that consist of 1, 2 or 4 digits also. Select each type of Operator
extension and add the entries as earlier. The current entries are displayed in the
window on the right side as well as the complete tree of the extensions is shown in the
Extension details window.
Fax extensions are dependent on extension-length. Add or delete the entries as
desired.
The Operator extensions may be duplicated within each type as well as across different
Operator extensions. However, an Operator extension is not allowed to be a User
extension or a Fax extension.
All the extensions may be viewed in the "Extension Details" box. This box is only for
viewing purpose.
