K5RCU

DTMF Receiver

The K5RCU must be installed to recognise Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) tones
generated by a standard telephone (or any other device connected to a standard telephone
circuit)

Configuration

The K5RCU does not have to be configured for operation. If built-in auto attendant or ACD is
required, see auto attendant KKYS, or RKYS2/RKYS3 installation.

K5RCU Installation

1.
Make sure that the power supply switch is OFF.
2.
Making sure that the component side of the K5RCU is face down (toward the power
supply), plug the K5RCU P602A and P602B female connectors into the P2A and P2B
(K5RCU) connectors on the motherboard.
3.
Ensure that SW1 is set to A Law operation and not Mu Law operation.

K5RCU Programming

Program 03: Enter code 98 for Slot 00 if K5RCU is installed.
Program 12: Sets K5RCU release time.
Program 15: Sets K5RCU operation after exchange line recall. Assigns DTMF dialling,
DISA, and additional attributes to each line.
