Installing the air conditioner
f If you need to ensure the outdoor unit from falling, use wires to fix it firmly.

- Loosen the 4 screws from the top cover of the outdoor unit.
- Put the wire around the screws and fasten the screws.
- Fix the wire on the ground.
• When the outdoor unit is not firmly fixed, it may fall and cause personal
injury or property damage.
CAUTION
• When the outdoor unit is installed in water-proofed rooftop, fix the
wires on the wall.
f Do not install the outdoor unit at an unstable places such as rooftop. If installation is unavoidable, make sure that you fix

the unit firmly. Avoid places where strong wind or storm can possibly knock down the product (such as sea shore or place
with frequent storm).
Installation procedure and method
1. Select installation location
- Select a place for best cooling effect that allows easy pipe and wiring work and the place where vibration and the fan
noise will not become disturbance.
2. Drilling a hole in a wall
- Drill a hole at a slightly downward slant with a diameter of 60~65mm.
3. Fixing the indoor and outdoor unit
- Firmly fix the air conditioner to prevent it from falling over and install the outdoor unit on the place with height over
2m or on the place where warm air from the outdoor unit does not blow directly to the pedestrian.
