Installing the air conditioner
Contact service center for installation. This air conditioner can only be installed by the qualified installer with the certification
issued by Samsung electronics.
Caution for installation
f Make sure that the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner is not partially or
f
entirely blocked by surrounding object.
f Select a stable place with firm surface to install the product in level and make
f
sure to fix it firmly to prevent it from vibrating. (Avoid place with unstable
surface since the air conditioner may generate noise.)
f Try to maintain the length of the pipe connection within allowed distance.
f
f Do not install the indoor and outdoor unit in a place where corrosive gas, such
f
as sulfur oxides, ammonia and sulphurous fumes, exists. (Copper pipe and
braze part may corrode and cause gas leakage.)
f Use supplied installation parts.
f
f Refer to below table for maximum allowable pipe length and height difference
f
when installing the pipes.

1) To prevent vibration and noise, fix the outdoor unit firmly and check that
base ground is hard enough and has no slopped surface. (Fix the outdoor
unit with M10 bolts, nuts and washer.)
2) Appropriate length of the bolt must be over 20mm from the surface of the
ground.
3) When constructing base ground, it must support the outdoor unit within
below dimensions.
