Check that the horizontal position of the punched holes was adjusted.
If more adjustment is necessary, repeat steps 7 through 10.

Punch Regist Loop Size Adjustment

When printing with a Punch setting, the angle of punched holes along the side of the paper can be adjusted.
Note
[Punch Regist Loop Size Adjustment] appears only if optional punch kit or the Z folding unit is installed
with the finisher.
For details on the Punch settings, refer to "Punching holes in copies (Punch settings)" on page 2-65.

Before making any adjustments, use a Punch setting to print a sample copy. Perform the adjustment
while checking the sample that was created.

Display the Administrator Settings screen.
For details on displaying the Administrator Setting screen, refer to "Displaying the Administrator
Settings screen" on page 11-37.

Touch [1 System Settings].
The System Settings screen appears.

Touch [7 Expert Adjustment].
The Expert Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [3 Finisher Adjustment].
The Finisher Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [7 Punch Regist Loop Size Adjustment].
The Punch Regist Loop Size Adjustment screen appears.

Touch the desired keys.
If the Z folding unit is installed, [Z-Fold Punch Unit] appears.

Check the angle of the punched holes.
If the punched holes are angled, touch [-] to change the adjustment. If the angle cannot be adjusted
by touching [-] or if the paper is wrinkled, touch [+] to change the adjustment.
Each time [+] or [-] is touched, the value is increased or decreased by one increment.

Touch [OK].
To cancel the setting and select the default, press the [Reset] key.
The angle of the punched holes is adjusted.
If no adjustment of the angle of the punched holes was necessary in step 7, this completes the
procedure.
