Light Source menu

The Light Source menu sets the light source mode and power preferences.

Menu item Description
Light Source Sets the light source mode.
Mode
Constant Power Sets the value of the laser diode power.
Constant Sets the value for the Constant Intensity
Intensity mode to maintain constant brightness.
The light sensor monitors the light level and
consumes more power as the laser brightness
decays naturally over time. When the laser
setting reaches the maximum power, it
remains at this setting.
Note the following:
• Light sensor must be calibrated for
Constant Intensity mode to work properly.
The calibration must be performed after the
laser diode replacement.
• Constant Intensity mode is disabled if Light
Sensor Calibration is not completed.
• Constant Power mode and Constant
Intensity mode conflict with each other.
When one function is enabled, the other
function is automatically disabled.
• When Constant Intensity mode is enabled,
the Dymanic Black and RealBlack functions
are automatically disabled.
Light Source Displays information about the light source in
Info the projector.
Light Sensor Calibrates the light sensor.
