3600 Series Flat Panel Industrial PC
Front Panel Frame
The 3612KPM front panel frame is made of polybutylene terephthalate polymers
(PBT) resin. Certain combinations of chemical environments, temperature, and
stress can adversely affect parts made from (PBT) resin. For this reason material
that may come in contact with the 3612 unit should be carefully evaluated under
end-use conditions for compatibility. See
chemicals.
The front panel frame for the 3612T and all 3615's is made of powder-coated
aluminum. The key ingredients are pure polyester, TEPIC-G, titanium oxide,
barium sulfate, leveling agent, and carbon black. Material that may come in
contact with the 3615 unit should be carefully evaluated under end-use conditions
for compatibility. See Table 4-3 for a list of compatible chemicals.

very good – found unaffected in its performances with regard to time, temperature and stress
+
good – found acceptable in normal exposure; long terms exposure may result in minor loss of properties; higher
temperatures may result in major loss of properties
+/
fair – found marginal; only for short exposures at low temperatures or when loss of mechanical properties is not
critical
