lowered as far as possible. (CVA 2652/2662: The position "172" for the

14. Press the right switch knob (or the OK touchpad).
15. Coffee/hot-water pump flow rate check:
a. Select Water pump (2M7), then Brew unit (M26). Press and hold the
right switch knob (or press the OK touchpad) and at the same time start
to close the valve until a pressure of 14.5 pounds per square inch (1
bar) is reached.
b. Release the right switch knob (or press the OK touchpad).
c. Place an empty measuring container under the valve outlet.
d. Press and hold the right switch knob for 30 seconds (or press the OK
touchpad). During this time check that a pressure of 14.5 pounds per
square inch (1 bar) is maintained. Adjust the valve if necessary to
achieve this. Severe pressure fluctuations (116 to 232 pounds per
square inch, or 8 to 16 bar) indicate that the coffee/hot-water pump is
defective.
e. After this period, if the measuring vessel contains 2 to 4 fluid ounces
(60 to 120 milliliters) of water, then the coffee/hot water flow rate is in
order.
16. Checking the coffee/hot-water pump and pressure system for leaks:
a. Press and hold the right switch knob (or press the OK touchpad).
After approximately 10 seconds, close the valve.
