Appliance Is in Standby Mode and Cannot Be Switched On Again
Symptom:
The appliance is in standby mode and cannot be switched on again via the
left switch knob. If the appliance is switched off via the power switch and then
switched on again, it can be operated normally after switching on via the left
knob.
Cause:
Software problem in standby mode.
Series modification:
Since machine no. 10+/11+/12+/65379027, the problem has been rectified
(indicated via + on the data plate). Since machine no. index 13, this problem
does not occur.
Remedy:
1. Switch the appliance off via the power switch.
2. Wait approximately 15 seconds.
3. Switch the appliance on via the power switch.

Descaling is Interrupted
Symptom:
The machine stalls 1 minute before the end of descaling.
Cause:
Defective triac on the power electronic.
Remedy:
Modified EPL 85x power electronic (EPL 850: mat. no. 06216475; EPL 855:
mat. no. 07280682).
Install the new power electronic. See Section 060-4.7.

Initial requirements:
Switch on the machine.
Accessing:
Turn the left switch knob until SETTINGS is displayed.
Acknowledgement indicator:
The right display shows LANGUAGE.
Options:
Turn the right switch knob until the desired programmable option is
displayed; see Table 060-4.
Press the right switch knob.
Turn the right switch knob until the desired setting is shown; see Table 060-4.
