Top Casing Removal

1. Remove the appliance for service; see Section 010-4.1.
2. Remove the left and right side panels.
3. Remove the rear panel.
Remove the top casing retaining screws (Figure 010-6, Items 2 and 3).
4. Remove the connection cable (Figure 010-6, Item 1) from its groove.
5. Slide the transformer up from its mount (if applicable).
6. Disconnect all connections to the ground lug (location: Figure 010-8, Item 1).
7. Disconnect all connections to the interference suppression filter, noting
their connections. Remove the 2 retaining screws (Figure 010-8, Item 3)
and remove the filter assembly.
8. Disconnect all connections to the power electronic.
9. Free wiring as necessary and lift the top casing from the appliance

Front Casing Removal

1. Remove the appliance for service; see Section 010-4.1.
2. Remove the left and right side panels.
3. Remove the rear panel.
4. Open the door. Remove the drip tray, waste and water containers, and
capsule magazine from the appliance.
5. Press down the steam valve switch.
6. Unscrew the steam jet.
7. Remove the capsule plate from the brew unit.
8. Remove the top casing retaining screws (Figure 010-9, Item 1).
