Power-up/Power-down Sequence

The K1048-RT system's power up/power-down sequences and indications are
shown below.
Timing
Plug the system into power source
Wait 30 Seconds
30 Seconds after power cord is plugged in
Push-on Power button
Drives spin up, switch initializes *
~15-30 seconds after power button is pressed,
Ethernet drives are available for DHCP address
assignment on the redundant networks
*Initial boot/spin-up may be silent.
Timing
Hold power button for 6 seconds, then release
System shutdown will occur within seven seconds
Powering-up the System
Indications
PSU LED will light
None
BMC ready/ onboard LED fl ashes (seen through
air vent(chassis/ rear) Indicating the board
management has booted successfully
Button LED turns green
Depending on environmental temperature Fans may
not spin-up like a typical server power-up
Internal link LEDs are lit solid on the mainboard
PHY indicators
Powering Off the System
Indications
None
Power button LED will go dark
BMC remains powered on accessible until system
is unplugged
