Note:
To make recordings when using the continuous
shooting or time lapse feature, turn the dial switch
to
. See "Using the continuous shooting
feature" on page 2-20, or "Using the time lapse
feature" on page 2-21.
You cannot make recordings when taking pictures
using the viewfinder.

Frame your subject in the LCD monitor and press
the shutter button.

The captured image appears on the screen
momentarily, then the camera begins the audio
recording. A countdown of the recording time
appears on the screen. You can record a message
until the time runs out by speaking into the built-
in microphone at the back of the camera.

For existing photos

To make recordings for previously taken photos,
follow these steps.
1.
Turn the dial switch to

Hold down the MENU button until the screen
changes. Then press the button next to RECORD.

You can make three, five, or ten second
recordings. Press the button next to the desired
time.
If there is already a message on the current photo,
a confirmation message appears. To erase the old
recording and make a new one, press the button
next to Yes. Press the button next to No to cancel.
4.
A countdown of the recording time appears on
the screen. You can record a message until the
time runs out by speaking into the built-in
microphone at the back of the camera.
