In the Manual camera mode, press the ISO button
to select AUTO, then press the + button to raise the
exposure value, or the - button to lower the
exposure value. You can make 21 different
settings in increments of 0.2, from -2.0 to 2.0 EV.
Note:
You can see the value for the exposure setting on
the display panel.
You can set the exposure settings when taking
pictures with the viewfinder and you set Program
or Manual mode in Setup position. Use the +
button to go up the value or - button to go down
the value of the exposure.
Photographic experience and knowledge is
necessary to correctly adjust exposure. Be sure to
make proper exposure settings when taking
important photos.
When shooting under poor photographic
conditions, EPSON recommends taking several
photos of the same object using different
exposures.

Making advanced exposure adjustments

When in the Manual camera mode, you can set the
exposure manually by changing the shutter speed and
aperture.
Note:
Photographic experience and knowledge is necessary to
correctly adjust shutter speed and aperture. Be sure to
make appropriate settings when taking important
photos.
The advanced exposure setting does not change when
the camera is turned off.
Setting the shutter speed
You can select shutter speeds from 1/2 to 1/750.
Follow these steps to change the shutter speed.

Make sure you are using the Manual camera
mode. (See
"Making the camera mode setting"
on page 2-24.)
