Look straight through the viewfinder and center
your subject in the cross-hairs.
Note:
Make sure you are not blocking the lens with your
finger, strap, clothing, or other object.
The frame in the viewfinder indicates the area
captured when taking pictures at close range.

Hold the shutter button halfway down to lock the
auto focus. The shooting light beside the
viewfinder stops blinking after the lens locks in
focus. If you wish, you can now move your subject
off-center without altering the focus.
4.
Press the shutter button the rest of the way down
to take the photo.
5.
Hold the camera still until the status light above
the LCD monitor comes back on, or until the
camera beeps. Then release the shutter button.
You can take another photo when the shooting
light next to the viewfinder stops blinking.

After you take a picture, the status light blinks.
This indicates that the image is captured and the
camera is processing it. When the light stops
flashing, the image is saved. Saved images remain
in the memory card even when the camera is
turned off, the batteries are removed, or the
memory card is removed from the camera.
