Formatting the hard disk

When the installation is finished, reconnect the power cable and
turn the instrument on. You must format the hard disk before it
can be used.
1. Press DISK to access the Disk edit mode.
2. Select the "Format" page.

3. Use the Device selector to select the hard disk ("HD").
4. Press the (Text Edit) button in the display to assign a
label (name) to the hard disk.
5. Select the Full Format option, then press the Execute but-
ton, and follow the instructions that appear in the display.
