2.2.11 Scanner Unit

The Scanner Unit consists primarily of the following components:
CCD Unit (Carriage Unit)
Consists of the CCD Board, mirrors and lens, lamp, and Inverter Board, and
moves on the CR Shaft.
HP Board
Informs the Main Board of HP detection of the CCD Unit, and conveys the signal
from the Main Board to the CR Motor.
CR Motor Unit
Moves the CCD Unit right and left via the Timing Belt.
TPU Assy
Works as the light source for scanning negative or positive film, incorporating an
inverter board and a lamp. Users can remove the TPU Assy by disconnecting the
Film Scan Connector from the Exterior Assembly.
