5.4.3 Home Position Adjustment Procedure

1. Connect the Stylus Photo RX700 to the PC with the USB cable, turn the power on, and
set the home position adjustment tool.

Turn the power on in the normal mode or in scanner unit

mode ([Scan] + [Color] + [Power]-ON).
Place the home position adjustment tool in close contact with
the upper left corner of the document table. Leave the top
cover of the scanner open.
2. Run the adjustment program. Upon start, the "Select Parameter Set" window will
open. (See Figure 5-14)
Select "R4CE550 ESL SCM+PRN" and click [OK].
NOTE: Alternatively, the parameter set can be selected from the combobox found at
the upper left of the program window.
3. Click the "SGL" icon on the tool bar of the adjustment program to display the
Single Test dialog screen. (See Figure 5-15)
4. On the Single Test dialog screen, select "Write Zero Correction Value" and click
the [Execute] button to execute the home position adjustment.
