By default, the timeout period is 10 minutes.
Step 5 Run:
screen-length screen-length [temporary]
The length of a terminal screen is set.
The parameter temporary is used to display the number of lines to be temporarily displayed on
a terminal screen.
By default, the length of a terminal screen is 24 lines.
Step 6 Run:
history-command max-size size-value
Set the size of the history command buffer.
By default, a maximum number of 10 commands can be cached in the history command buffer.

4.3.5 Setting User Priority of VTY User Interface

This section describes how to control users' authority of logging in to the router and improve
the security of managing the router by configuring the user priority.

Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
user-interface vty first-ui-number [ last-ui-number ]
The VTY user interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
user privilege level level
The user priority is set.
By default, users logging in through the VTY user interface can use commands at level 0.
Issue 02 (2011-10-15)
Similar to command levels, users are classified into 16 levels numbered 0 to 15. The greater
the number, the higher the user level.
This process is to set the priority for a user who logs in through the console port. A user
can only use the commands with the level corresponding to the user level.
