Before re-fitting a wheel, smear some waterproof grease on the axle and carefully
re-fit the snap ring and washer (2).
NOTE
they are of the same diameter, and check that cutting deck is horizontal to pre-
vent an uneven cut.
Changing and repairing tyres
Tyres are of the «Tubeless» type and therefore all puncture repairs will have to be
carried out by a tyre-repair expert in accordance with the methods for this kind of
tyres.
Changing belts
The motion from the engine to the rear axle and from the motor to the blades is
obtained by two trapezoidal belts.
NOTE
be worn! ALWAYS USE GENUINE SPARE BELTS!
Replacing belts is quite complicated and must only be carried out by your Dealer.
Blades and blade brake adjustment
When you operate the lever to disengage the
blades, this simultaneously operates a dou-
ble brake which stops them from rotating
within a few seconds.
The lengthening of the cable can be compen-
sated by turning the adjusting nut (1) until the
correct tension of the spring (2) is achieved,
measured from the outer ends of the spring
with the blades engaged.
Cutting deck adjustment
The cutting deck should be properly set to obtain a good cut.
Should you substitute one or both rear wheels, ensure that
