Checking the brake function of the brake
E 1) Place the chain saw on the ground.

2) Hold the handle with both hands and accelerate the

engine to high speed by using the throttle trigger.

3) Operate the chain brake by turning your left wrist

against the front hand guard whilst gripping the front
S
handle.

4) The chain stop immediately.
5) Release the throttle trigger.
Kettenbremse überprüfen
D 1) Die Säge auf eine feste Unterlage setzen.

2) Die Griffe mit beiden Händen fassen und Vollgas

geben.

3) Die Kettenbremse auslösen, indem man das linke

Handgelenk gegen den Handschutz bewegt ohne

dabei den vorderen Griff loszulassen.

4) Die Kette muß sofort abbremsen.
5) Den Gashebel sofort loslassen.
Controllo del freno / funzione del freno

1) Posate a terra la motosega.
T
2) Tenete l'impugnatura con ambedue le mani e

accelerate il motore a velocità elevata con il grilletto
L
acceleratore.

A 3) Azionate il freno catena ruotando il vs polso sinistro
N contro il paramano anteriore durante la presa
O sull'impugnatura anteriore.
4) La catena si ferma subito.
5) Rilasciate il grilletto acceleratore.

Release the chain brake
• When front hand guard is fully pulled towards the
operator, chain brake is released.
If the chain does not stop immediately, take the saw to
your ECHO dealer to repair.
Kettenbremse lösen
• Den vordere Handschutz in Richtung der Bedienkraft
ziehen. (Kettenbremse ist freigegeben)
Wenn die Kette nicht sofort stehenbleibt, geben Sie die
Säge dem für Sie zuständigen ECHO Vertragshändler
zur Reparatur.
Disinnesto del freno catena
• Quando il paramano anteriore è tirato completamente
verso l'operatore, il freno catena è disinserito.
Se la catena non si ferma subito portate a riparare la vs
motosega da un rivenditore ECHO.
