For sirens that draw more than 1 Amp, use a relay.
Connecting control devices
The unit can be controlled with an OP40 or OP50 Remote controller
connected on the NMEA 2000 network.
NMEA 2000 backbone
Device connection
The unit is equipped with an NMEA 2000 data port, which allows
the receiving and sharing of a multitude of data from various
sources.
Planning and installing a network backbone
The backbone needs to run between the locations of all products to
be installed - typically in a bow to stern layout - and be no further
than 6 m from a device to be connected.
