The steamer does not
produce any steam.
Water drips from the
steamer head.
The steamer produces a
pumping sound and vibrates.
The steamer does not
heat up.
There is water coming out
from underneath the base.

press the Auto-clean button.

Some steam comes out
of the steamer during the
Auto-clean process.
Halfway through the Auto-
clean process, the steamer
base vibrates louder.
The cover cannot be prop-
erly closed.

Possible cause
The steamer has not heated up
sufficiently.
You have not pressed the steam
trigger fully.
The water level in the water tank is
too low.
The steamer needs to prepare for
first use.
The steamer head did not heat up
sufficiently.
You may have pressed the Auto-
clean button (GC430 only).
Water is pumped to the steamer
head to be converted into steam.

Solution
Let the steamer heat up for approx. 40 seconds
before you use it.
Press the steam trigger fully.
Refill the water tank before continue steaming.
After the steamer has heated up, you need to press
and hold the steam trigger for 20 seconds to start
the steam production.

Avoid pressing the Auto-clean button during
steaming.

Check if the mains plug is inserted properly in the
wall socket and if the wall socket is working properly.
Close the cap of the filling/emptying opening
