INTAKE SYSTEM
INSTALLING THE INTAKE MANIFOLD
Install:
Intake manifold
NOTE:
Tighten the intake manifold mounting bolt
in sequence and two steps of torque.
Intake manifold mounting bolt:
1st: 6.0 N
2nd: 12.0 N
ADJUSTING THE FUEL ENRICHMENT
SOLENOID (F8CW)
NOTE:
If the fuel enrichment has been
disassembled, adjust the mounting
position as follows.
Adjust:
Fuel enrichment solenoid
Adjusting steps:
(1)Temporarily assemble link joint 1 to
lever 2.
(2)Set lever 2 to the fully open position

(3)Adjust the length of link joint 1 so that
solenoid plunger 3 contacts grommet
4.
(4)Secure link joint 1 with an O-ring.
(5)Actuate solenoid 5 between fully open
a
position

, and check that the outer
circumference of link joint 6 does not
interfere with grommet 4. If there is
any interference, loosen screw 7 and
adjust the mounting position of
solenoid 5.
