Checking the throttle body

1. Check:
• Throttle body exterior
Cracked  Replace.
2. Check:
• Throttle valve movement
Not smooth  Clean.

Checking the intake manifold

1. Check:
• Intake manifold
Cracked/deformed  Replace.

Checking the vapor shut-off valve

1. Check:
• Vapor shut-off valve exterior
Cracked  Replace.

Installing the intake manifold

1. Install:
• Gasket (to the intake manifold)
• O-ring (to the intake manifold)
• Throttle body (to the intake manifold)
• Intake manifold
• Intake manifold bolt
