3.12.2 FIRMWARE

Installed Firmware
This is the complete identifier of the firmware that is current on the FUSION.
Components
This lists all firmware elements that are making–up the FUSION firmware. This provides useful information to help support
customers.
Upgrade
When newer versions of FUSION firmware become available, the user can download the firmware from the CalAmp web
site and manually update the unit by uploading a package to the unit.
Note that, unless explicitly stated, this process is safe and user is not expected to take any special precautions. Also, the
unit remains fully operational for the duration of the upload phase. However, the unit automatically reboots once the
upload completes, thus taking the FUSION out of service during approximately 1 minute.
