Connection made but
lost before transaction
completed.
This message displays
if a refill has not been
performed in 90 days. After
120 days, postage cannot
be printed until a refill/or
balance check.
Analog phone line not
connected to machine.
Insufficient postage.
Postage amount exceeds
maximum funds available
in system.
A failure occurred during
a refill.
Refill amount entered is
more than the maximum
the machine will allow.
Meter error codes without
descriptions

Action
Press Clear/Back (C); try
again in a few minutes.
If problem persists call
Pitney Bowes (see Pitney
Bowes Contact List at the
start of this guide).
Perform a refill procedure
or check amount
available to download.
Connect analog phone
line to machine.
Select a lower postage
amount. Perform a funds
refill to add funds to the
system.
Call Pitney Bowes (see
Pitney Bowes Contact
List at the start of this
guide).
Press Clear/Back (C).
Repeat refill procedure
with a smaller postage
amount.
Press Clear/Back (C).
If nothing happens
in 5 seconds, turn
off machine; wait 15
seconds, and then turn
on machine. If problem
persists, call Pitney
Bowes (see Pitney
Bowes Contact List at the
start of this guide).
