Notes before Cleaning
Note
Deebot can not detect the staircase if the height is less than 8cm. Extra measures should
be taken to prevent this from happening. If the staircase is with strong reflected surface
such as mirror/glass etc., it will also probably cause the height sensor out of function and cause
danger. If this is the case, please put a nonreflective cloth or similar on the staircase to ensure
safety.
Safety tips: if your house is with stair case, for better safety, we strongly recommend to use rai-
ling to prevent Deebot from falling off the staircase.

• Take extra care of the robot when the first it works. Please
remove the obstacles when it is beyond the robot. Try to avoid
the situation that the robot stops working.
• Make precautions to solve the problem which may make
the cleaning in trouble, such as:
- Keep the easily knock over objects in a safe place.
- Permian the edge of the carpet.
- The hanging table cloth and curtain should not touch
the ground.
- The flammable object should be cut from the fire source.
- Sort out the tangled power cord on the floor.
- Pick up the newspaper, book, magazine and large piece
of paper scattered on the floor.
• Check whether the main brush is correctly fixed inside the
robot before cleaning.
• Examine if the dust box is empty and insure it is fixed before
it works.
• See if up-ground height sensor and dust sensor are wiped
clean.
• If you only need to clean one room, please close the door.
• If the room which needs to be cleaned wants a partition, you
can place the virtual wall, at the same time, check the facing
opening width.
• Do NOT use robot on high places without guardrail. The robot
may fall down and hurt people.
• Agitator brush and dust box should be installed correctly.
• Drop-sensors and dust sensors should be cleaned.
• Please close other doors if only one room needs cleaning.
• Virtual wall can be used to limit the cleaning area.
• Please be aware that Deebot needs 10 cm or 4 inches of clea-
rance underneath furniture so that it will not become trapped.
• People in the home should be informed when the Robot is
functioning, especially those who maybe hard of hearing or
have poor eyesight. (picture)
• Do NOT drop the Robot, should this happen, run the Robot
to see that everything is okay before letting it operate by itself
without you being present.
