How to adjust the speed:

Speed controller
Maximum sewing speed can be freely set by the speed
controller.
Foot controller
To run the machine, press the foot controller.
The harder you press, the faster the machine sews.
Speed controller will set the maximum sewing speed.
Pressing harder → faster speed
Pressing weaker → slower speed
* Always clean the foot controller.
It is important that you do not place any objects on the foot
controller as it may cause injury to the user and may cause
malfunctions.
Foot switch function
The sewing machine can be set to carry out one of the
following operations when the front section of the foot con-
troller is depressed:
1 Reverse stitch
2 Lock stitch
3 Half stitch sewing
4 One stitch sewing
(Refer to page 93)
5 Presser foot lift
6 Thread trimming
7 No function
This function has been
factory-set to " 1 Reverse
stitch" at the time of ship-
ment.
