5 Foot switch function

You can select the operation to be carried out when depressing the front section of the foot controller.
You can select the operation from among "reverse stitch", "lock stitch", "half stitch sewing", "one stitch sewing",
"presser foot lifting/lowering", "thread trimming" and "no function".
* Default setting is the "reverse stitch".
The foot switch function has now been
set.
* The setting is memorized even when the machine
is turned off and on.

Reverse stitch foot switch setting
In the case you select this function, the sew-
ing machine sews reverse stitches when you
depress the front section of the foot controller.
Lock stitch foot switch setting
In the case you select this function, the sew-
ing machine sews lock stitches when you
depress the front section of the foot controller.
Half-stitch sewing foot switch setting
In the case you select this function, the sew-
ing machine sews a half stitch when you
depress the front section of the foot controller.
One-stitch sewing foot switch setting
In the case you select this function, the sew-
ing machine sews one stitch when you de-
press the front section of the foot controller.
Presser-foot lifting/lowering foot
switch setting
In the case you select this function, the press-
er foot goes up/comes down when you de-
press the front section of the foot controller.
Thread trimming foot switch setting
In the case you select this function, the thread
trimmer trims the thread when you depress
the front section of the foot controller.
No-function setting
The foot switch function is set to OFF.
