Matching Transmitters

Matching transmitters to your
vehicle may be necessary if you
lose or replace a transmitter.
Up to four transmitters can be
matched to your vehicle.
You can purchase new transmit-
ters from your dealer.

Programming Additional
Transmitters
You will need to use the Driver
Information Center to program
the transmitters.
To match a new transmitter to
your vehicle when you still have
two recognized transmitters, do
the following:
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Both the new transmitter and
two recognized transmitters
must be in your possession.
If two recognized transmitters
are not available, see your
dealer to purchase a new
transmitter and to have
transmitters matched to your
vehicle.
3. Remove the key from one of
the recognized transmitters.
4. Place the recognized
transmitters in the cupholder.
5. Insert the key into the lock
cylinder on the driver's door.
6. Turn the key to the unlock
position five times within five
seconds.
The Driver Information Center
will display READY TO LEARN
ELECTRONIC KEY # X (ready
to learn electronic key number
X) where X can represent
transmitter number 2, 3 or 4.
