Instrumentation and Controls
To quickly set a tone control to its
middle position, press and hold
the push-button under BASS
(bass), MID (midrange), or TREB
(treble) for more than two
seconds.
You will hear one beep.
To quickly set all speaker and tone
controls to their middle positions,
press and hold the TUNE/TONE
(tune/tone) knob for two seconds.
If a station is weak or noisy, you
may want to lower the treble tone.

Digital Signal Processing
(If equipped)
This feature is used to provide a
choice of different listening
experiences. It can be used while
listening to the radio or the CD
player.
To choose a DSP setting:
1. Press the TUNE/TONE (tune/
tone) knob until a digital
signal processing setting
appears on the display.
2. Press the push-button under
the desired setting.
- NORMAL (normal)
This setting provides the best
overall sound quality for all
seating positions.
- DRIVER (Driver)
This setting gives the driver
the best possible sound
quality.
- REAR (rear)
This setting gives the rear
seat occupants the best pos-
sible sound quality.
