■ SERVICE PARTS
IDENTIFICATION LABEL
This label is located on the spare
tire cover. It is very helpful if you
ever need to order parts.
On this label, you will find the
following information:
• the vehicle identification num-
ber
• the model designation
• paint information
• a list of all production options
and special equipment
Do not remove this label from the
vehicle.

■ FUSES AND CIRCUIT
BREAKERS
The wiring circuits in your vehicle
are protected from short circuits
by a combination of fuses and
circuit breakers. This greatly
reduces the chance of damage
caused by electrical problems.
If you ever have a problem on the
road and don't have a spare fuse,
you can borrow one that has the
same amperage. Just pick some
feature of your vehicle that you
can get along without - like the
radio or cigarette lighter - and use
its fuse, if it is the correct amper-
age. Replace it as soon as you can.
The fuse block is in the engine
compartment.
There is also a fuse block located in
the trunk on the right side of the
vehicle.
To access the fuse block, you must
first open the trunk access panel.
See "Rear Compartment Fuse
Block" later in this section.
NOTICE
When a power loss occurs, such
as disconnecting the battery or
removing the maxifuses in the
fuse block, the Electronic
Throttle Control must be
recalibrated. If this is not done,
the engine will not run
properly.
See "Battery" earlier in this
section for information on
recalibrating the Electronic
Throttle Control.
