■ REMOTE KEYLESS
ENTRY SYSTEM (IF
EQUIPPED)
If your vehicle is equipped with an
ignition control knob, see "Keyless
Access System" later in this
section.
With this system you can press a
transmitter button to lock and
unlock your doors and release your
trunk from up to 20 meters away
from the vehicle.
The keyless entry transmitter also
allows you to activate a vehicle
locator, or to sound the vehicle's
alarm from a distance.
Operating the remote keyless
entry system may interact with the
vehicle's theft deterrent system.
See "Theft Deterrent System"
earlier in this section for more
information.
Section 3
The numbers on the transmitters
correspond to memory buttons 1
and 2.
The keyless entry transmitter can
be used to recall seat and mirror
memory settings for up to two
drivers. See "Memory Feature" in
Section 1.
Modifications made to this
system by anyone other than an
authorized service facility may void
authorization to use the system.
