Starting and Operating Instructions
■ ALL-WHEEL DRIVE (IF
EQUIPPED)
With this feature, engine power is
always sent to all four wheels. It is
fully automatic, and adjusts itself
as needed for road conditions.

■ VEHICLE PARKING

Manual Transmission (If
equipped)
Place your manual transmission in
reverse gear and firmly apply the
parking brake.
Turn off the ignition.
If your vehicle is equipped with a
removable ignition key, remove
the key from the ignition.
If your vehicle is equipped with an
ignition control knob, remove the
keyless access transmitter from the
vehicle.
If you are towing a trailer, see
"Trailer Towing" later in this
section.
Automatic Transmission (If
equipped)
NOTICE
If you do not park your vehicle
properly, it can roll. If you leave
the engine running, it could
move quickly. You or others
could be injured. To be sure the
vehicle does not move, follow
the steps below.
