Details: A setting of "-12," for example, shifts the
pitch of the selected voice down by one octave;
a setting of "+4" shifts the pitch up by a major
third.
The Note Shift function can be used to trans-
pose a voice to its most useful range, or to create
harmony (intervals) between different voices in
a multi-play setup.
Details: Each tuning increment corresponds to a 75/
64-cent change in pitch. The entire tuning range
is therefore 75/64 x 127 (i.e. 64 + 63 incre-
ments) — almost 150 cents. Since 100 cents
equals one semitone, the tuning range is approxi-
mately one and a half semitones. A setting of
"0" produces normal pitch.
